When I started this blog, I guessed that we’d cover about 20,000 miles.  A fair guess.  So far, we’re at:

LA to Beijing: 6,250                                                                                                                 Beijing to Kunming: 1,300                                                                                                       Kunming to Beijing: 1,300                                                                                                           Beijing to Shanghai: 660                                                                                                         Shanghai to Beijing: 660                                                                                                             Beijing to Chengdu: 930                                                                                                         Chengdu to Xi’an: 450                                                                                                                   Xi’an to Beijing: 565                                                                                                                 Beijing to Hong Kong: 1,225                                                                                                         Hong Kong to Beijing: 1,225                                                                                                         Total: 14,565 miles

One more trip in June after the girls are done with school, and then homeward.  Looks like we’ll easily pass 20k.
