The girls had a blast playing in the snow this morning… everything cold (!), white and beautiful…  It did slow us down the way that snow days do, and that was fine. We ditched our original plan for the day and took off for the North Chaoyang district.  Big diplomatic and ex-pat area with lots western shops and restaurants (which we ignored) and the famous Sanlitun Yashow Market (which we explored).  Also found the notable Bookworm, had great noodles for lunch, and our very first Starbucks of the trip (OK, so one western stop).  A good day outside in the (cold!) air.  Also… I think Art has us on a “walk yourself fit” plan.  As I type this, I can’t move my legs…
